I have a digital photography class. So for a grade I have to write an essay. I love photography but hate to write about it. This ‘ Essay ‘ is going to tell you 3 good techniques for photography.
The first technique will be The Rule Of Thirds. In the ROT, (Rule Of Thirds), the lines are the money spots. The lines also help the photo look more balanced. When taking a Picture you ask yourself two IMPORTANT questions:
- Where am I intentionally placing them?
&
- What are the points of interest?
The ROT was 1st used in 1797.
The second technique is Fill Your Frame. You want to get zoomed into the main thing in the photograph. When photographing an athlete try to animate the picture more by capturing the sweat on there faces & their muscles tightened. If you don’t want to zoom in, you can simply crop your images when you get home.
Last technique will be to create active space in your photography. In this type of technique you want to leave space for the object to move. When this technique is used its when something is moving, For example: Race car, someone running, Horse race, Etc. Basically it’s anything in motion. The space behind your subject is called ‘ Dead Space’.
Well I hope these techniques will help you as much as they helped me. Shall we review the 3 techniques again, Ok? The Rule Of Thirds, Fill Your Frame and lastly Create active space in your photo.
